Little Voice 03:26
Little voice, inside you sound with noisy faces all around. You're telling me to move aside, and leave the moment to decide. Any time of day, you'll have your way. Empty vessels fill the air, leaving messages but no one cares. Listen close and listen well, words of wisdom lie just where they fell. Any time of day, come back this way. So many tongues are tied in useless lies. I hear them rolling around, looking for holier ground. you keep your distance, then your gone. Little voice I'm asking you, show me words that I can use. When I find my thought are strung around, you'll find them resting in the lost and found. You talk me down with quiet sounds. Little voice you'll be set free, when all the birds sing in the trees. Tiny words in everyone, just take your time to speak as one. Any time of day, you'll make your way, you'll have your say, come back this way ... (Lyrics copyright Rob Johnston 2016)

about

Apart form 2 traditional arrangements, All tracks composed and arranged by Rob. All the tracks are performed live from time to time and Rob occasionally uses looping technology to layer guitar and guitar percussion in performances (E.g. The Race to Coldbackie). Mostly instrumental pieces and a couple of songs, using a variety of finger picking techniques and plectrum (and a few different tunings!)
